I was planning to work on my man cave today and I did manage to buy some key ingredients at Home Despot* this morning, but Mrs. O.C. wants to grow some tomatoes and O.C. loves tomatoes. But Mrs. O.C.’s dog likes to eat the tomatoes off the vine , and O.C. don’t wanna play that. So I did this instead, today:
I discovered that the neighbor’s fence was leaning into my yard by a good 10 or 12 inches at the top, so I straightened it up.
I do a lot with galvanized fence tubing, squashing the ends, and fabricating structural members. It’s a fun and easy and very effective method.
*I bought two nice redwood 1x6s, six-footers, at the Despot for $0.01 apiece. Always check the scrap heap back by the saw. I get nice one-by back there at 75% off, usually, or better.

Just finished the chicken run for Mrs dsigned001. Our (9 lbs) doggy would love some chickens off the vine, if you catch my drift.
Silly doggies.

I like the penny deals at Home Depot. Picked up 9 sheets of 4' x 8' whiteboard, and the rang up for a penny each!
What are your man cave plans?

The dog won’t jump that? My GF’s Shih Tsu would jump right over that. Luckily, it only likes eating strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. At least thus far...
So, how many project cars does this earn you?

That dog will get to those tomatoes ... they are built that way.

Before. The tarp was a fail because the slope isn’t great enough and because condensation would drip from underneath.
New Plastic Patio Roof
The roof is rigid.
Audiovisual and WiFi, of course.

We hope they’ll lose interest. So far, only $80 and three hours invested...

Home Despot is the greatest misspelling I’ve ever seen

Well, I may not be the first, nor the only person who ever thought of it, but I thought of it on my own. And thank you.

I do refer to it as the Home Despot, but that is because I had a tyrant of a manager change jobs to their corp hq. I shop Lowes as much as possible now.

O.C. never does anything half way. There might be an “OCD” joke there, but I’ll leave it alone. Mrs. Ttyymmnn would like a garden. Maybe we can talk about yours sometime.
